SendGrid is Now Available in Google Cloud Launcher

SendGrid is happy to announce its availability in Google Cloud Launcher, a marketplace that enables Google Cloud Platform users to explore, launch, and manage powerful solutions and services. Google Cloud Platform offers computing, storage, and application services for your web, mobile, and backend solutions.

Google Cloud Platform and SendGrid have collaborated for a number of years, but this update provides customers with easier access to leverage SendGrid.

Why Join Google Cloud Launcher

Email continues to be one of the most effective ways for organizations to communicate with their users or customers. From an ROI perspective, each $1 invested in email returns an average of $38 in revenue.

We’re happy to provide an easy email integration for Google Cloud Platform users. SendGrid has a history of supporting developers and scaling apps, and the Google Cloud Launcher is a perfect place to continue this support.

Users can explore, launch, and manage powerful solutions and services with Google Cloud Launcher. Google Cloud Launcher offers ready-to-go building blocks, solutions, and services to accelerate development, enabling you to spend less time combing through documentation or wiring things together and more time coding. Rather than build your own email infrastructure, you can reach your users or customers through SendGrid’s industry-leading, cloud-based infrastructure.

By signing up for a Free SendGrid email plan through Google Cloud Launcher, you can send up to 12,000 emails per month and test your integration with SendGrid.

Once you’ve tested your integration and have started sending email, users can upgrade their SendGrid email plan any time they like to scale their volume or begin taking advantage of more advanced email features, including:
  • Address, domain, and link sender authentication
  • Advanced analytics
  • Event tracking
  • Parsing incoming messages
  • Dedicated IP addresses

Start Sending Email

In order to start sending email through SendGrid, Google Cloud Platform users simply sign up for a SendGrid plan within Google Cloud Launcher. For more information about creating your account, you can visit the Google Cloud Platform SendGrid Documentation.

SendGrid supports most common SMTP servers, libraries, and frameworks. The Google Cloud Platform Documentation provides examples of mail configuration for Postfix, Java, and Node.js. For even more examples and more extensive documentation, users can also use SendGrid’s Documentation to find the mail configuration that works for their project.
