Do you know how your email program stacks up against the competition? With 2017 planning around the corner, it’s a great time to take a deep dive into assessing your email engagement health.

And you’re in luck. SendGrid’s first Global Benchmark Report has been released, and it’s chock-full of email demographics and engagement statistics so that you can evaluate how effective your email campaigns are. We collected and analyzed data from over 30 billion emails, 100,000 different senders, across 25 different industries, to give you information on recipient demographics, device open rates, click rates, send rates, and much more. The data is easily digestible, so you can see what works, what doesn’t, and what our email experts have to say.

However, we didn’t develop the report for idle eyes – we’re going to have some fun with it too. That’s why we’re putting your knowledge to the test in our Twitter trivia game, #EmailIQ. Each week we’ll quiz you on industry facts and figures to find out who the true email champion is.

Eager to get started? Here’s how it works:

Beginning September 27, we’ll post two trivia questions each week for the following five weeks using the hashtag #EmailIQ. Keep your eye on our Twitter feed as we’ll be giving followers a heads up just a few minutes before each trivia question goes live.

To participate, @reply to the trivia tweet with your answer, using the hashtag #EmailIQ. The first to respond with the correct answer will receive a $25 Amazon gift card via email.

All of the answers can be found in this year’s Global Engagement Index, so download the asset now and get a head start on studying!

Ready. Set. Go!
