SendGrid, the leading delivery platform for customer communication that drives engagement and growth, today announced that Len Shneyder has joined the company as Vice President of Industry Relations.
Len comes to SendGrid from SparkPost with over 15 years of email and digital messaging experience. Prior to SparkPost, Len served as Director of Marketing for OtherLevels, a mobile marketing and analytics startup focused on push messaging, Message Bus, Pivotal Veracity before and after the company was acquired by Unica and later IBM, and other organizations in the mobile and email industry. Len has authored many studies and white papers and his commentary has been featured in TechCrunch, MediaPost, The Huffington Post, AdAge and other media outlets.

As Vice President of Industry Relations, Len will continue to evangelize best practices for the email marketing industry in an effort to help create a safer and more harmonious inbox. He will work hand-in-hand with marketing leaders and companies across martech and adtech to further SendGrid’s commitment to improving the overall digital messaging ecosystem.
Len is a long-time member of M3AAWG (the Messaging, Malware, Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group) and serves on its board in addition to Co-Chairing the Program Committee charged with organizing the thrice yearly meetings. In addition he’s part of the MAC (Member Advisory Committee) of the EEC (Email Experience Council) where he serves as the organization’s Vice Chair. In addition, Len has worked closely with the ESPC (Email Sender & Provider Coalition) on issues surrounding data privacy and email deliverability.
