Email generally isn’t a very scary topic, but dealing with a nasty spammer or having a close call with a malicious phisher can give recipients quite the scare. Occasionally people with bad intentions use email as their tool for deceit. It’s up to good senders to ensure their email doesn’t give their recipients or inbox providers the wrong impression.

Watch the video below as Warren and I discuss spam and phish–what they are, what they typically look like, and how to keep your email from being mistaken as one of the bad guys.

It’s worth the time to make sure your mail doesn’t unintentionally scare your subscribers!

Until next time, happy sending! (And happy Halloween!)
