We are back with another SendGrid Stocking Stuffer! Do you like email? Do you like dumb costumes? Do you like my nonsensical intros that our video editor includes in each episode of Unread Mail? Well… have I got a treat for you! These episodes of Unread Mail have MOST of those things!

Why This is a Gift:

Let’s be honest, if there’s something that is essential during these holiday weeks at work, it’s more videos. Take advantage of this time by evaluating your email program and finding ways you can make improvements. The Unread Mail episodes below cover some really great topics, like preference centers, how to avoid appearing like spam, and some inspiration from a great emailer.

How to Use It:

Double check your messages – Our Halloween episode above covered some of the ways legitimate senders can make mistakes that cause their messages to look like spam. The video covers some of the things you can do to avoid coming across as illegitimate. Plus, I’m wearing a spam costume, while Kate is wearing a fish hat. Get it?

Get some inspiration – In this episode, I talk about a surprise party I threw and how my brother used Paperless Post for the invites. Check out why we think their messages are great, and how you can use similar strategies in your campaigns.

Give your recipients options – Unlike other Unread Mail episodes, I’m wearing a black hoodie in this one. Also, rather than a blue baseball cap, I’ve chosen to go with a blue beanie and antlers! Kate and I talk about the benefits of providing an email preference center to recipients so that they don’t unsubscribe completely.

Keep an eye out for more stocking stuffers this month and check out any that you may have missed.
