Today, we are very happy to announce a partnership with email optimization and segmentation company, Sendwithus.

Easing pain points for developers has been a longstanding focus at SendGrid. As part of that mission, we are always looking for ways to empower developers and marketers with the features and tools they need to succeed both independently and collaboratively.

“When we talk with developers at growing companies, one common theme we hear is the need to provide marketing teams with more control over their transactional email—so we launched our Template Engine in May to do just that” said Jim Franklin, SendGrid CEO. “Sendwithus shares our passion for email and has developed a powerful email toolset that enhances SendGrid’s core email delivery platform. For our customers who require additional email and marketing automation tools, the combination of SendGrid and Sendwithus is a very effective and affordable solution.”

The Template Engine remains available as a free feature to SendGrid customers of all sending volumes who are looking to manage their transactional content via WYSIWYG and HTML editors. Now, for any customers who are looking for a more premium toolset, the Sendwithus platform is available to further optimize your email through a fast and easy API integration.

Sendwithus offers the ability to:

  • Edit transactional email content
  • A/B test message
  • Automate drip campaigns
  • Schedule emails
  • Segment your lists

Partnership Details

Starting today, SendGrid customers who send to <10,000 subscribers/month can activate the Sendwithus “Starter” account at no additional cost. Those who want to send to >10,000 subscribers/month can upgrade to the “Sendwithus Business” plan or more advanced plans starting at $199/month. To do so, simply create a free account first and then upgrade directly with Sendwithus.

SendGrid customers can easily access these options within the “Apps” section of the SendGrid control panel.

We’ve been friends with the Sendwithus team for a long time and are excited to help bring their premium tools to our customers. Together, we’ll not only help our customers to continue to send wanted, high-quality email, but we’ll also give them the opportunity to build a robust marketing automation tool on top of their apps. We’ve already seen customers easily and affordably create powerful marketing automation set ups with the combination of Sendwithus and SendGrid and look forward to seeing what others can develop with this partnership.

Sendwithus is changing how apps communicate with people, and this new partnership gives the power of Sendwithus to every SendGrid user with a single click” says Matt Harris, CEO and co-founder. “We’re incredibly excited to be a SendGrid partner, matching Sendwithus’ innovation with SendGrid’s world-class delivery infrastructure.”
