Top 10 Reasons You Should Attend #SIGNALConf 2020

SIGNAL, Twilio’s customer and developer conference, is virtual this year. And, before you get super bummed that you missed it, know that it’s not too late to sign up! Join more than 20,000+ developers, business leaders, enterprises, and startups. You'll learn how to engage your customers across channels, strengthen your customer relationships, and build better communications and experiences. We’re looking forward to an incredible virtual event this year. There’s so much happening—you don’t want to miss this. Here are the top 10 things you can look forward to this year:

10. The latest and greatest in email

If you want to stay up to date on all things email, join SIGNAL for 10 Email API focused sessions. Learn everything from the basics of email to scaling to over 4.2 billion sends in a single day. Hear from the likes of Spotify, Glassdoor, and more on how they’re using email to up-level their customer engagement strategies—and how you can, too. Check out the different email sessions here

9. An immersive keynote

This year's keynote will be a virtual experience. We have amazing customers lined up to talk about their strategies for digital engagement. We're also using an XR stage to make attendees feel part of the experience and to show exactly how our products operate in the real world.

8. Interactive viewing with Developer Mode

We’ve created a unique viewing experience just for developers that we are calling Developer Mode. Developer Mode makes SIGNAL even more interactive by taking the keynote content from the browser into developers' terminals using the Twilio CLI. From there, developers can explore the SIGNAL schedule and SIGNAL TV, download and set up samples locally for a wide variety of Twilio use cases in less than 5 minutes, discover a secret cheat mode, and more!

7. Superclass featuring Bill Nye

Superclass is here to help you become more familiar with the ever-expanding Twilioverse. If your company uses Twilio, your development team shouldn't miss this! This year's Superclass is fully optimized for a virtual experience with two days of bite-sized workshops. We'll introduce a new Twilio Quest character, and Bill Nye will even make a guest appearance—yes, the Science Guy!

6. 75+ content sessions

These sessions are a mixture of live and on-demand content. Knowing that video fatigue is a challenge many of us face, we've made our session content short and sweet (no more than 20-30 minutes/session). Each session will feature deep dives on the Twilio products you love (and even some you haven't met yet). Plus, learn from industry leaders how they deliver personalized experiences at scale with Twilio.

5. Interact directly with product experts

This year you won’t just be watching the keynote—you’ll get to connect with the people watching and talk to product experts. We’ve built an interactive platform powered by Twilio Flex so you can easily set up 1:1 meetings with product experts and participate in live Q&A throughout SIGNAL.

4. Create your own avatar

Get creative and add your own personal flair to your avatar with our avatar builder. Be sure to share your avatar on social media.

3. Give back to nonprofits

More than 800 nonprofit leaders are registered to attend SIGNAL, and our Twilio.org team will show up with two dedicated sessions and customer features of United Way, International Rescue Committee and the University of Michigan. We’ll also have a way for all SIGNAL attendees to give back in a big way.

2. Learn from leading CEOs and startup founders

This year, we’re welcoming speakers from world-class companies, including Nike, Delta Air Lines, Deloitte, Spotify, Optimizely, 1-800-Flowers, and many more! Learn how these companies are building engaging customer experiences and how they have adapted in this time of digital acceleration. Check out our full lineup of speakers.

1. Incredible speakers like Trevor Noah

We'll be interviewing comedian and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, along with other amazing keynote speakers.

At SIGNAL, you’ll get the resources, connections and tech you need to strengthen the customer interactions for your business. From expert speaker sessions, product deep dives, and speaker panels—SIGNAL offers powerful and practical sessions to help you build legendary customer relationships with Twilio. So, what are you waiting for? Register for a FREE Explorer pass. This includes livestream access to 25+ sessions, both keynotes, our avatar builder, and new product announcements.

Or with an upgraded All-Access pass, you’ll get to stream all 75+ breakout sessions live and on-demand for a year, participate in Superclass Developer Training, and connect one-on-one with Twilio product experts eager to answer all of your questions.
