We’re happy to be back with another update on recent enhancements to Marketing Campaigns, SendGrid’s email marketing solution. If you haven’t checked it out, take a moment to experience our powerful yet easy-to-use segmentation, flexible campaign building interface, responsive templates and much more—all designed to help you increase retention and engagement with ease.

Here are a few of the recent enhancements we think you’ll love.

Improved contact profile management

We’ve made individual contact profile pages easier to navigate and added the ability to edit contact details, custom fields, and associated lists directly within the profile view. This is great for senders who have the occasional contact update that they wish to manually manage within the Marketing Campaigns UI.

Export multiple stats at once

Being able to export stats to a CSV for further analysis is critical for learning about and tracking campaign performance. To make this analysis easier, we’ve added the ability to export stats for multiple campaigns at once. Simply check the campaigns you’d like to analyze, export them, and we’ll compile the data into one CSV for you. We’ll also add a little value by totalling your stats across campaigns for you.

Link click tracking for A/B tests

In our last update we announced link click tracking, but it wasn’t yet available for A/B tests. Happily, you can now track links across all campaigns, including those with a multivariate test! We provide you with click data for each variation you tested, the winning version overall, and the total clicks (which will include clicks on the non-winning versions during the test).

Transactional template management

For those of you who leverage our transactional template manager, we’ve made great improvements to the usability and organization of this page. If you haven’t used it, it’s a tool that allows you to make content changes to templates (either revisions or new versions) with the same easy-to-use template editor that you know and love with Marketing Campaigns. From there, simply save changes and the updates will automatically go live for any transactional mail that’s using that template.

API for managing sender identities

We’ve added a Sender Identities API which allows developers to programmatically define and manage sender identities. Any changes made to the sender identities will be reflected in the UI as well, allowing non-technical users to review and leverage any updates. As a reminder, much of the functionality of Marketing Campaigns can be achieved using the API, which allows teams to work together seamlessly.

We hope our existing Marketing Campaigns users will love these enhancements (and that those of you will keep your invaluable feedback coming!). If you haven’t yet signed up for our powerful but easy-to-use email marketing service, we encourage you to give it a try—your first 2,000 contacts are free!
