Meet SendGrid’s Newest Developer Evangelist, Elmer Thomas Elmer Thomas October 3, 2011 Company // SUMMARIES ?> I began my journey with SendGrid more than a year ago as a Web Development Manager, helping to build a solid software development process. As we began to grow, I became involved in Product Development and QA, with the goal of elevating our software quality. Now, both of those areas are well taken care of and SendGrid allowed me the opportunity to grow once again. Some of my deepest pleasure comes from learning, educating and creating, particularly in the area of Computer Engineering. Whether it’s reading, writing, programming or out experiencing life — I am always looking for ways to continue improving and helping to advance those around me. So when Tim Falls announced the creation of the SendGrid Developer Community, I knew that I could provide value to developers integrating or innovating with SendGrid, with an ultimate goal of helping to make developer’s lives easier so they can focus on shipping and providing value to their customers. Plus, how can you not love the title Developer Evangelist? I will be working with developers at hackdays, writing libraries and tutorials to make it even easier to integrate with SendGrid, publishing blog posts, interacting on Twitter and working to make our documentation the best it can be. If you need any help or you wish to help contribute to our vision, feel free to reach out to me by email or on Twitter (I use the ^et sig there).
