A few announcements that might interest you as a SendGrid user or follower:

TechCrunch Disrupt

We are sponsoring Disrupt in San Francisco from September 25 to 29.

First, we will be at the Hackathon this weekend, Saturday Sept 25 – Sunday Sept 26. We will have four of our team members there ready to help all the hackers learn more about using the SendGrid APIs. This is an awesome chance to work closely with our developers and discover all the cool stuff you can do with email by integrating with our Parse and Event APIs, for example. Plus, you just might get a sneak peek into some of the new stuff that we are working to roll out soon.

If you happen to be going to the Hackathon, check out the resources page beforehand and take a peak at what SendGrid and other participating companies have to offer.

Second, we will have several people at the Disrupt conference Monday Sept 27 – Wednesday, Sept 29. If you’re attending, we’d love for you to stop by our booth and chat. We will be located close to the Hackday area for the entire conference. So feel free to stop by, get a cool new SendGrid t-shirt and meet our team.

Hope to see you there!

Heroku Success Story

Back in the fall of 2009, we partnered with Heroku to bring SendGrid to their Add-ons library. As a result, we have attracted many awesome new SendGrid users, and Heroku has been able to offer its customers a way to send email from their apps much more easily. Since the initial integration, Heroku has done a lot to develop this effort, and many other companies have added their cloud services to the collection.

If you would like to learn more about our experience with Heroku or get info on how to “make your cloud service available to tens of thousands of Heroku developers with one-click”, visit their new add-on provider program page.

Or, if you would like to share your personal success story as a SendGrid/Heroku user, please leave a comment!
