We’ve all received unsolicited email, and whether the intention of the sender was to spam anyone or not, think of how it made you feel. It was likely off-putting and annoying.  Is that the first impression you want your recipients to have with your brand?

What if you end up getting tired of receiving email from a certain sender, but you cannot, for the life of you, find a way to unsubscribe? It can be infuriating and also quickly encourages you or any recipient to find an alternative brand to engage with.

The inbox is a place where manners definitely matter, and your behavior can quickly determine if you will be invited for another visit or if you’ll be asked to leave (with a not-so-subtle unsubscribe).
