We’ve all received unsolicited email, and whether the intention of the sender was to spam anyone or not, think of how it made you feel. It was likely off-putting and annoying. Is that the first impression you want your recipients to have with your brand? What if you end up getting tired of receiving email from a certain sender, but you cannot, for the life of you, find a way to unsubscribe? It can be infuriating and also quickly encourages you or any recipient to find an alternative brand to engage with.
