Data management company, Memeo provides easy to use backup, sync and sharing solutions for SMBs and enterprises. With over 22 million customers worldwide, their tools are used by some of the largest brands in the industry including Amazon, Sony, HP and Western Digital.

Memeo’s new product Memeo C1 launched in December 2012 provides users with the ability to securely sync and access files across their computers and mobile devices while allowing IT admins to maintain maximum control. In order for the product to work, users have to receive their email communications 100% of the time. These email communications include account creation and validation notices, company-wide activity and data usage stats, and security alerts–all critical for the viability of Memeo C1. However, as their user base and subsequent email volume grew, Memeo’s ESP couldn’t ensure delivery of their mail nor could they support the need for the number of dynamic email templates required to send their transactional email streams. When blacklisting issues started to impair their product reliability, they knew they had to make a switch.

Memeo decided to switch to SendGrid’s cloud email service based on a valued recommendation. Integration only took a couple of hours and soon after, their blacklisting issues disappeared. Their current email delivery rate is now 93% and unlike before, they spend zero time and resources maintaining email servers and chasing down email delivery failures. They can even whitelabel their service and customize their email templates to suit their business needs.
