Our Customer: Inigral

Inigral helps colleges create private branding communities within Facebook for potential students to meet and connect with future classmates. By tapping into the social effects of Facebook and focusing on student engagement, universities can increase enrollment and boost their retention rates. Inigral relies on email to drive engagement among their student and client users. They send over 5 million emails per month deploying activity notifications, weekly digests, and confirmation messages to students as well as sending weekly reports to their university clients.

Inigral’s Email Challenges & SendGrid’s Solutions

As Inigral’s user base grew, so did their email volume and subsequently their delivery challenges. Emails started to go undelivered which limited engagement opportunities for students. Adding to the problem was their lack of access to the delivery and response metrics they needed to help improve their overall email program. They needed a solution that would not only provide reliable delivery, but give them the data they needed to continue to grow their business. That solution was SendGrid. The result was a 99% delivery rate and an 11% increase in student join rates.
