Voting has opened up for one of the nation’s largest tech & web conferences this site of the Mississipi – SXSW Interactive. SendGrid has enjoyed being a part of this fantastic experience (2011, 2012) and next year is already shaping up to be bigger and better! SXSW Interactive is a conference held each March in Austin, Texas where attendees number over 20,000 come to hear speakers and panels talk about the future of the web, design, development, social networks, startups and many more topics with a full blown exhibit hall, interactive demos, video game experiences and one of a kind opportunities to network within this unique conference community. Many of us from SendGrid were in Austin last weekend for an unforgettable experience at the interactive piece of SXSW. It was an excellent opportunity for us to meet face to face with many of our best clients, learn about other fascinating start-up companies and educate others about the value of using SendGrid to deliver email.
As you all know, everyone’s favorite week of geeky debauchery is coming up again next March. SendGrid is excited to make the trip back to Austin for a second year – one that promises to be bigger and better than 2011 from our perspective. While we have a whole lotta awesomeness in the works outside of the walls of the convention center (more to come on that front), we are also vying for several speaking spots during the conference. Panel Picker voting closes this Friday (midnight, central time), so take a moment to check out our submissions (linked below) and vote them up, if you’d love to hear more! It’s official – SendGrid is rocking out at South by SouthWest 2011. And we’re doing so with some of our coolest friends at three other rad companies: Apigee, SimpleGeo, and Twilio. Obviously, you’d like to join in the fun, right? So do it – visit our party website at GetdownParty.com and submit your RSVP today. Also, join in the conversation on Plancast, Twitter (#GETdown), and Facebook. The party is Sunday, March 13 10pm-4am at the Pure Volume House (right downtown, super close to the convention center) This will be a great opportunity to hang out and meet some of the SendGrid team. We’ll have several people from the crew in attendance, including Denise, Robert, Jim, and me. We’d love to see you,
