SendGrid Expands to Denver

2012 has been a big year for SendGrid. We’ve hit the 50 billion emails sent milestone, reached 100 employees, and now serve over 60,000 customers. As a result, it should come as no surprise that this big year has tested the limits of our Boulder office. That’s why we are excited to announce that SendGrid will be opening a new office in Denver to supplement the downtown Boulder headquarters. A Hackathon with a Civic Focus: Colorado Code for Communities

I see a lot of ideas at hackathons that are fun but not necessarily useful, or that are useful but not solving big problems. That’s not a judgment on building things solely for fun or as novelties; that’s a big part of the spirit of hacking, and it’s hard to tackle big problems in a couple days.
