    • thanks! we want to make our services available to any and all, so this is the least we could do for our customers on the other side of the Atlantic :)

  1. Hi Brandon,

I know this is an old post, but I would like some details about this, if possible. We currently host a site in the EU (, and were wondering if the European Union Data Protection Directive is automatically applied to all accounts, or do we need to do another measure to ensure the safety of users who use our site in the EU?

    • Hi Jarret, no problem! You don't need to do anything special. The certification applies to all data stored by SendGrid, so any of your customers in the EU are already covered.
